It affects the tunica vaginalis, the thin membrane lining that surrounds the testes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Symptoms of testicular mesothelioma include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discomfort or pain around the scrotum<\/li>\n<li>Excess fluid and swelling in one or both testicles (hydrocele)<\/li>\n<li>Masses on the testicles or in the testicular lining<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This type of cancer may spread and cause stomach pain by the time it reaches the advanced stages. Because testicular mesothelioma is so rare, it\u2019s usually discovered by accident during surgery or imaging scans.<\/p>\n<h2>When Should I See a Doctor for a Diagnosis?<\/h2>\n<p>You should visit a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mesotheliomahope.com\/treatment\/doctors\/\">mesothelioma specialist<\/a> if your symptoms don\u2019t go away or start getting worse. They can perform a physical exam and order imaging scans to look for tumors or other abnormalities.
