of Physicians and Surgeons in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>She spent 2006 through 2012 completing a residency in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital on the Columbia campus. She continued her training with a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at another major New York cancer center from 2009 to 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Zauderer completed an additional fellowship in medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in 2012. She worked briefly at Baptist Hospital of Miami in Florida before joining the Mesothelioma Program at a major cancer center in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Zauderer is licensed to practice medicine in several states, though she has spent most of her career in New York.<\/p>\n<h2>Highlights of Dr. Marjorie Zauderer\u2019s Medical Career<\/h2>\n<p>Dr. Zauderer was presented with the Department of Defense Career Development Award for her research on the role of the <a href=\"\/mesothelioma\/diagnosis\/genetics\/bap1\/\">BAP1 gene<\/a> in mesothelioma.
