\n\u2013 Liz Logan, RN, Board-Certified Patient Advocate<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\nLiz attended the University of Central Florida College of Nursing, where she finished her undergraduate and graduate studies at the top of her class. She\u2019s also completed Oncology Patient Navigator Training through the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.<\/p>\n
Before joining our team, she previously managed a lung cancer screening program as well as an infusion clinic. As a member of the Academy of Oncology Nurse and Patient Navigators (AONN+), she has expertise in helping people enroll in clinical trials to access the latest cancer treatments.<\/p>\n
Liz\u2019s passion for nursing began at a young age when her aunt \u2014 who was like a second mother \u2014 was diagnosed with lung cancer. She went with her to chemotherapy appointments and saw how the nurses were not only kind and compassionate but also explained things in a way her aunt could understand.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe ability to improve someone’s well-being is deeply fulfilling. I possess a strong sense of empathy that fuels my desire to help others, especially when they\u2019re at their most vulnerable. I love advocating for my patients to ensure they receive the best care possible.\u201d

The patient later thanked Liz for standing by her every step of the way.<\/p>\n
