Liz also founded and managed a lung nodule program and actively contributed to research studies.<\/p>\n<p>As a member of the Academy of Oncology Nurse and Patient Navigators (AONN+), she\u2019s also well-versed in helping patients enroll in clinical trials to access the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mesotheliomahope.com\/treatment\/\">cancer treatments<\/a> \u2014 one of many skills that will be beneficial to the Mesothelioma Hope community.<\/p>\n<h3>Marrying Passion With Purpose<\/h3>\n<p>Liz knew early on she wanted to help people in her life. Her aunt, who was like a second mother to her, developed lung cancer when Liz was young.
